Description: This is the fifth of six courses that introduces you to ancient Greek, with both classical and Koine treated. We’ll be working with the popular textbook Athenaze (students may use either the English or Italian versions, as available). They will be supported in using either a classical or koine pronunciation, and have access to audio recordings, email and slack support, and weekly seminars conducted 95% in Greek.
This course will commence at Athenaze chapter 22. (Volume 2)
Classes will be offered via Zoom. You’ll need decent internet, and preferably a headset or microphone and relatively quiet workspace. Students should also ensure they have acquired a copy of the textbook before the class begins.
Time: Mondays 8:00pm Australian Eastern time (Sydney), starting Feb 6th, 2023. (This is morning or later in Europe or Africa, though note that the time will shift slightly due to daylight savings.)
Length: 9 weeks x 1hr
