Description:
In this unit we’ll be looking at a selection of Greek passages from the Septuagint.
We’ll be reading through the Greek text throughout the term, while discussing it in a Q&A mode in Greek during the weekly seminars. Outside the weekly class, participants will be expected to read sections of the text themselves, with email support. Experience in spoken Greek is not necessarily required but students should be aware that the seminars will be conducted in spoken ancient Greek, at a level appropriate to the participants.
Classes will be offered via Zoom. You’ll need decent internet, and preferably a headset or microphone and relatively quiet workspace. Students should also ensure they have acquired a copy of the textbook before the class begins.
Time: Thursday 6pm US Eastern Time, starting October 15th. (Note that this class will remain fixed at 6pm, regardless of the end of Summer time in the US, and the start of summer time in Aus.)
Length: 10 weeks x 1hr
Cost: USD $215 / 310 AUD

Classes require a minimum number of participants to run. Classes may run with less participants, at my discretion. Any cancelled classes will be refunded in full.
