Description: In this unit we’ll be reading and discussing Gregory of Nazianzus’ First Theological Oration (Or 27). We’ll be reading through the Greek text throughout the term, while discussing it in a Q&A mode in Greek during the weekly seminars. Outside the weekly class, participants will be expected to read sections of the text themselves, with email support. Experience in spoken Greek is not necessarily required but students should be aware that the seminars will be conducted in primarily in spoken ancient Greek, at a level appropriate to the participants.
Time: Thursday 9pm US Eastern Time, starting October 7th (2021). (The class time is fixed to 9pm, New York, regardless of other time changes)
Length: 10 weeks x 1hr

Classes require a minimum number of participants to run. Classes may run with less participants, at my discretion. Any cancelled classes will be refunded in full.
