Description: This is the first of a series of courses suitable for students who have worked through all of LLPSI: Familia Romana in a communicative mode, and are looking to expand and consolidate their ability to read and discuss texts in Latin. We’ll be working with Øberg’s Roma Aeterna as well as his Aeneis reader, which contains portions of books I and IV of the Aeneid.
Weekly seminars will be conducted 95% in Latin.
Students should expect to do additional reading, and some writing, outside class
Classes will be offered via Zoom. You’ll need decent internet, and preferably a headset or microphone and relatively quiet workspace. Students should also ensure they have acquired a copy of the textbooks before the class begins.
Time: Thursday 7pm US Eastern Time, starting January 28th (2021). (The class time is fixed to 7pm, New York, regardless of other time changes)
Length: 9 weeks x 1hr

Classes require a minimum number of participants to run. Classes may run with less participants, at my discretion. Any cancelled classes will be refunded in full.
