Description: This is the third of a series of courses suitable for students who have worked through all of LLPSI: Familia Romana in a communicative mode, and are looking to expand and consolidate their ability to read and discuss texts in Latin. We’ll be working with Ørberg’s Roma Aeterna and working through chapters 47-51.
Weekly seminars will be conducted 95% in Latin.
Students should expect to do additional reading, and some writing, outside class.
Classes will be offered via Zoom. You’ll need decent internet, and preferably a headset or microphone and relatively quiet workspace. Students should also ensure they have acquired a copy of the textbooks before the class begins.
Time: Thursday 7pm US Eastern (Daylight) Time, starting July 15th (2021). (The class time is fixed to 7pm, New York, regardless of other time changes)
Length: 10 weeks x 1 hr
