Description: This course is designed for those with some experience and ability in Latin, who are looking to develop the ability to write original prose compositions in Latin. Participants will take part in a guided series of exercises using Milena Minkova and Terence Tunberg’s Readings and Exercises in Latin Prose Composition, as well as other writing exercises, and seminar workshopping.
Participants should expect to spend 1-3hrs/week outside class working on their writing.
Classes will be offered via Zoom. You’ll need decent internet, and preferably a headset or microphone and relatively quiet workspace. You’ll also need your own copy of the Minkova & Tunberg text.
Time: Thursday 9pm US Eastern Time, starting April 22nd (2021). (The class time is fixed to 9pm, New York, regardless of other time changes)
Length: 10 weeks x 1hr
