Description: This is a reading course focused on Scottish Neo-Latin poetry. We’ll be reading Latin poems from Scottish authors from the 16th and 17th century in particular, and discussing them in a mixture of English and Latin (depending upon participant ability). No experience in spoken Latin is required.
Classes will be offered via Zoom. You’ll need decent internet, and preferably a headset or microphone and relatively quiet workspace.
Time: Tuesday 9pm UK Time, starting May 25th (2021). (The class time is fixed to 9pm, Edinburgh, regardless of other time changes)
Length: 10 weeks x 1hr

Classes require a minimum number of participants to run. Classes may run with less participants, at my discretion. Any cancelled classes will be refunded in full.
