In this unit we’ll be longer sections of Boethius’ De Philosophiae Consolatione
We’ll be reading through the Latin text throughout the term, while discussing it in a Q&A mode in Latin during the weekly seminars. Outside the weekly class, participants will be expected to read sections of the text themselves, with email support. Experience in spoken Latin is highly desirable and students should be aware that the seminars will be conducted in spoken Latin, at a level appropriate to the participants.
Classes will be offered via Zoom. You’ll need decent internet, and preferably a headset or microphone and relatively quiet workspace.
Time: Sunday 8pm US Eastern Time, starting January 31st (2021). (The class time is fixed to 8pm, New York, regardless of other time changes)
Length: 9 weeks x 1hr
Cost: USD $198

Classes require a minimum number of participants to run. Classes may run with less participants, at my discretion. Any cancelled classes will be refunded in full.
