Description: In this course we will read a selection of Latin Patristic authors, as provided by the instructor. The class is designed to be class is designed to be ‘semi-communicative’, and move the participants towards a more communicative approach, i.e. working in Latin to discuss Latin. To that end, students will also be taught basic grammatical terms and structures in Latin. Nonetheless, students should have completed Familia Romana or an equivalent.
Classes will be offered via Zoom. You’ll need decent internet, and preferably a headset or microphone and relatively quiet workspace. Students should also ensure they have acquired a copy of the textbook before the class begins.
Time: Starting Monday 29th July, 7pm EDT (Tuesday 30th, 9am Australian Eastern Time)
Length: 10 weeks x 1hr
