Description: This is an absolute beginners course in which we will read and discuss the author’s text Lingua Graeca per se Illustrata. The course assumes nothing and will begin with chapters 1. Learners will be supported in using either a classical or koine pronunciation, and have access to audio recordings, email and slack support, and weekly seminars conducted 95% in Greek. If you’re looking for a robust ab initio course in ancient Greek, aimed at communicative competencies, this is it.

Classes will be offered via Zoom. You’ll need decent internet, and preferably a headset or microphone and relatively quiet workspace. Students should also ensure they have acquired a copy of the textbook before the class begins.

Time: Tuesday 7pm US Eastern Time, starting October 13th. (Note that this class will remain fixed at 7pm, regardless of the end of Summer time in the US, and the start of summer time in Aus.)

Classes require a minimum number of participants to run. Classes may run with less participants, at my discretion. Any cancelled classes will be refunded in full.

After the first 2 weeks, a refund is not available.
