Outcomes

This is the fourth of a series of courses that introduces you to Latin, primarily classical Latin as a spoken and written language. We’ll be working with both the peerless textbook Lingua Latina: Familia Romana, as well as additional reading and listening work. Weekly seminars will be conducted 95% in Latin.

How the course works

Each week you'll meet live on Zoom for a 60-minute interactive class conducted primarily in Latin.

• Uses the text Familia Romana (LLPSI 1) covering chapters 29-35
• Limited to 5 participants
• As much Latin as possible, as much English as necessary
• 3-5 hours a week independent study expected
• Access to recordings of all live sessions
• Access to student community on Discord
