Description

This is a pre-release version of a Greek reader, designed to build off the Athenaze Greek course, but with a particular direction towards the New Testament. It is a set of stories that (a) build upon the grammar and vocabulary in that course, (b) have a setting that matches the New Testament world, (c) introduces and makes students familiar with Koine, and particularly New Testament, language and idiom.

The current text (chapters 1-15) is just shy of 10,000 words, and should be accessible to anyone working through the first volume of Athenaze, or coming to it with a NT Greek background. It incorporates direct quotations and adaptations from both New Testament and Septuagint passages.
