$175.00
Description: In this course we’ll use the textbook Athenaze (in the Italian edition from the Accademia Vivarium Novum) as a basis for a spoken-Greek introduction to classical Greek. This course is ideal for those (a) learning Greek from scratch, (b) wanting to learn classical after a mainly New-Testament background, (c) those interested in working with Athenaze but put off by not having Italian!
Our weekly classes will work through the text with in-Greek discussion, questions and answers. Outside the class hour, you will be supported with audio recordings and supplementary material.
Classes will be offered via Zoom. You’ll need decent internet, and preferably a headset or microphone and relatively quiet workspace. Students should also ensure they have acquired a copy of the textbook before the class begins.
Time: 7pm Monday US EDT, starting Tuesday 16th April(9am Australian EST, starting Wednesday 17th April)
Length: 10 weeks x 1hr sessions
