Greek 311: Plutarch’s Demosthenes

Description: In this unit we’ll be reading and discussing Plutarch’s Demosthenes. We’ll be reading through the Greek text throughout the term, while discussing it in a Q&A mode in Greek during the weekly seminars. Outside the weekly class, participants will be expected to read sections of the text themselves, with email support. Students should be aware that the seminars will be conducted in primarily in spoken ancient Greek, at a level appropriate to the participants.

Time: Sundays 10pm US Eastern Time, starting January 30th. (The class time is fixed to 10pm, New York, regardless of other time changes)

Length: 10 weeks x 1hr

Cost: USD $220

All classes will be recorded and available for participants to download.
Classes require a minimum number of participants to run. Classes may run with less participants, at my discretion. Any cancelled classes will be refunded in full.

Refund policy:

More than 10 days prior, 100%
Less than 10 days prior to the class, 75%
Within the first 2 weeks of class, 50%
After the first 2 weeks, a refund is not available.
