In this course we’ll learn Greek drawing upon the instructor’s own “Lingua Graeca Per Se Illustrata” materials. Students will read original, learner-oriented Greek text, as well as engage in communicative activities designed for total beginners in Greek, to provide comprehensible input aimed at acquisition of ancient Greek.
This course covers chapters 11-20 of LGPSI. Students should have read chapters 1-10 and be familiar with the language covered.
Students will also be given access to a second set of graded Greek readings.
Classes will be offered via Zoom. You’ll need decent internet, and preferably a headset or microphone and relatively quiet workspace. Students should also ensure they have acquired a copy of the textbook before the class begins.
Time: Friday 11am Australian Eastern Time, starting 26th July (Thursday 9pm EDT, starting 25th July)
