Description: This course is designed explicitly for those who have completed a year or more of college-level ancient Greek in a more grammar-translated method, and want to work on specifically developing an ability to use Greek actively. We’ll use story-asking, discussions of contemporary activities in daily life, picture-talk, and other activities to develop a beginning proficiency in spoken ancient Greek. Students will also be assigned some activities between classes to develop their exposure to spoken Greek.
Classes will be offered via Zoom. You’ll need decent internet, and preferably a headset or microphone and relatively quiet workspace. There is no textbook for the class, the teacher will provide all necessary materials.
Time: Tuesdays 8:00pm-9:00pm US Eastern time, (The class time is fixed to 8pm, New York, regardless of other time changes)
Date: Starting Tuesday 27th January, 2026
Length: 10 weeks x 1hr

Classes require a minimum number of participants to run. Classes may run with less participants, at my discretion. Any cancelled classes will be refunded in full.
