Description: This is the third of a series of courses that introduces you to Latin, primarily classical Latin. We’ll be working with both the peerless textbook Lingua Latina: Familia Romana, as well as additional reading and listening work. Weekly seminars will be conducted 95% in Latin.
We will start at chapter 22 of Familia Romana, and as time permits working with supplementary material from Colloquia Personarum.
Classes will be offered via Zoom. You’ll need decent internet, and preferably a headset or microphone and relatively quiet workspace. Students should also ensure they have acquired a copy of the textbooks before the class begins.

Time: Tuesdays 7:30 pm-8:30 US Eastern time, (The class time is fixed to 7:30pm, New York, regardless of other time changes)
Date: Starting Tuesday 4th August, 2026
Length: 9 weeks; Weeks 1-7 will be 60mins, Weeks 8 and 9 will be 90 mins. (10 hours total)

Classes require a minimum number of participants to run. Classes may run with less participants, at my discretion. Any cancelled classes will be refunded in full.
