Latin 238: Petrarch on dealing with life’s ups and downs

Description: In this class we’ll be reading and discussing selections from Petrarch’s De Remediis Utriusque Fortunae.

This is an intermediate reading and discussion class. Weekly seminars will be conducted 95% in Latin.

Classes will be offered via Zoom. You’ll need decent internet, and preferably a headset or microphone and relatively quiet workspace.

Time: Tuesdays 7:30pm – 8:30pm, US Eastern Time (New York)

Date: Starting 29th April, 2025

Length: 10 weeks x 1hr

Cost: USD $235

All classes will be recorded and available for participants to download.
Classes require a minimum number of participants to run. Classes may run with less participants, at my discretion. Any cancelled classes will be refunded in full.

Refund policy:

More than 10 days prior, 100%
Less than 10 days prior to the class, 75%
Within the first 2 weeks of class, 50%
After the first 2 weeks, a refund is not available.
